Tower Of Terror
This fantastic ride opened in 1997. It was built by Intamin AG, and is a clone of Superman: Ultimate Escape at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Southern California. Of all the rides at Dreamworld, this was the one I was most looking forward to riding. I'd seen countless amounts of footage and photos of the Californian version, and I was very anxious to ride .. maybe even a little nervous!Intamin has also added a Giant Drop to the backside of the tower. At the time it was the tallest drop in the world, not sure if it still holds that title. Apparently the Drop riders feel the whole tower shake as the coaster runs - As if a Giant Drop isn't already bad enough! Needless to say, I didn't drag my 'scared of heights' self on this one.
