Déjà Vu
Déjà Vu, also known as: Delay-jà Vu,
Déjà Stupid, or "Broken Down Again For The Very First Time".
This troubled ride tried to open in 2001, but didn't start taking passengers
until the very last weeks of the season. The 2002 season wasn't much better,
and 2003 only saw a slight improvement. Finally, by 2004 the ride started
running almost reliably, and 2005 improved on that too. Of course, the ride
still seems to go down (only for short periods) many times a day - it took
me several attempts to take photos, the ride was down every time I walked up
to it!
Anyway the ride itself it quite fun, particularly from the front row. It's
not the smoothest thing out there, but the visuals are great. The first
vertical tower is a bit uncomfortable, but it's not too bad near the front
of the train. The second tower is great in the front row, though!
The ride is very photogenic, however ... especially now that it's finally
been repainted!
