Phantom's Revenge
Phantom's Revenge is one great coaster, probably my favorite steel coaster. It has everything a top 10 coaster needs: terrific drops, fantastic setting, great forces, and a brilliant ending.This ride originally opend in 1991 as the "Steel Phantom". It was built by Arrow Dynamics, and featured the (still present) 225 foot drop into the ravine. In 2001 it reopened as "Phantom's Revenge" after being redesigned by Morgan Manufacturing. The whole (amazing) first half of the ride remained, and Morgan replaced the old Arrow inversions with some totally whacked-out, crazy stuff!
