Luna Park: Scenic Railway
The Scenic Railway is really quite a great little ride .. To actually ride it is really an experience. Photos don't do it justice, so here's some quick video which also doesn't do it justice! It offers amazing views of Port Phillip Bay, and the suburb of St. Kilda.
- A train climbs the lift hill - A cable lift hill, almost 90 years before Millennium Force! (Quicktime movie, approximately 2 MEG)
- A train cruises over one of the small hills towards the end of the ride - Some surprising air to be had towards the front and rear of the train (Quicktime movie, approximately 628 KB)
- Train races up the second hill, and into the tunnel - This is the best hill on the ride, providing the most air. (Quicktime movie, approximately 832 KB)
- Train flies out of the dark/loud tunnel (Quicktime movie, approximately 864 KB)
