May 21st was a glorious, sunny day in the mid 70's .. Michigan's Adventure was opening for the 2005 season .. How could I not be there?!
Beth and I had an amazing day at the park. It was 'nicely crowded', but we still didn't wait more than 10 or 15 minutes for anything. The star of the show, Shivering Timbers, was running astoundingly well. My wavering preference of wooden coasters is wavering no more .. the wood coasters are king! No geeky page on my site would be complete without pictures: Returning for Timbersfest in June: Amy, Cory and I took the Lake Express ferry from Milwaukee to Muskegon ... complete with geeky photos.
