Ferry from Milwaukee to Muskegon
On our way to TimbersFest 2005, we drove to Milwaukee and took the Lake Express Ferry across to Muskegon. It was a two hour ride, and was surprisingly rough! There were quite a few green looking people when we arrived at Muskegon, and even the staff were beginning to feel it. The ferry itself is very fast, so fast that it was uncomfortable to stand up top until it slowed down. The approach into Muskegon was terrific, with two lighthouses!
