Marvel Cave
The Marvel Cave is one of the largest underground caverns on the planet; and it's included free with admission to Silver Dollar City! I knew little about the cave before I went (other than "don't miss the cave!"), but I think that just made it all the better. The walking tour (which lasts an hour) takes us almost 500 feet underground, and includes something insane like 600 steps. Most of the steps are down, as there is an ancient cable-tram that takes us back up to the surface.Many of the cave pictures do not have captions, although they are in order of what we encountered. Note that the pictures do not even come close to capturing the beauty (or eeriness) of being down there .. but enjoy them anyway!
