Southport: The Funhouse
Ok, so this was probably the most fun non-ride of the
whole trip! The funhouse is home to the Wheel Of Doom, a horribly
dangerous (yet shitloads of fun) wooden wheel that spins and throws people
to their deaths!
The idea is that everyone piles on to the wheel in one seathing mass of
sweaty coaster geekdom ... and as the wheel starts to spin, people get
thrown off to the slightly padded wall. Usually you end up bowling someone
else over on the way .. or dragging more people off the wheel as you go.
I ended up with wood burns, bruises, and a pulled muscle. Other people had
similar injuries, along with torn clothes and burned jeans.
It was so freaking fun!
