The Incredible Hulk

This is the only launched coaster that B&M have built, in fact they outsourced the launch system and just built the coaster around it!

It's actually pretty cool: the launch track is lined with wheels, each one controlled by one motor. The wheels turn slowly and pull the train part-way up the lift. When it hits the right spot the motors spin up to full speed and push the train all the way up and out. It's like the Hot Wheels car launchers!

Even cooler than the launch is the layout .. at the very end of the launch track is the first inversion. So you are suddenly launched to over 40MPH in just a few seconds, then blast out into daylight and immediately get flipped upside-down. This is followed up with a nose-dive down to the water, then the pretty Cobra-Roll.

Here is a great article about some of the technology behind Hulk.

I'll let the pictures describe the rest - but keep in mind that at least 50% of this coaster is hidden!
