2001 Audi S4

I always had very mixed feelings towards the S4. I mean, make no mistake: it's probably the nicest car I'll ever own. However there was just something missing. Some spark, or personality or something .. hard to say.
As summer 2005 turned into fall and winter, the car suddenly got very old. It required multi-day stayes the last four times I took it for service, and it actually broke down on me on one occasion. (Although that did mean I didn't have to work that day!). Still, it was all a bit hard to take on a car that, when new, was over $40,000.
That's not to say that I didn't have fun with the car .. Driving in the snow was a blast! And it dutifully took me for an almost 3000 mile road-trip in the summer of 2004 (which freaking kicked ass!). I enjoyed my time with the Audi, but it was time to move on.
