Rewiring My Network
It's amazing what's needed to be online these days. Back
in the day (2000) I just had the DSL modem, and the PC. Now I have the modem,
Vonage (IP Phone) router, main router with wireless access point, old
wireless access point (wireless B), network attached storage device, a
second hub, and of course the PC (which used to be Buzzneon.com).
Now this mess was never really planned, it just sort of grew. So it was very
ugly under there .. any time I had to add or remove something it just made it
worse. So now that Buzzneon is all off-site I shut it all down, took it all
apart, and started from scratch. This also gave me a bit of an opportunity to
clean the gallons of dust that had built up..
