Bike Ride Through The Skokie Lagoons
It's late September, time for just one more bike ride, and I choose my favorite (and longest) ride through the Skokie Lagoons and into the Chicago Botanic Gardens. This is about 30 miles round trip, through some spectacular scenery. As much as Evanston pisses me off to no end, it's a great starting point for so many different bike rides.The weather was amazing: upper 70s, with cicadas and insects going nuts. And the path was a complete ghost town. Truely a fantastic way to end the summer!
