Missouri Trip
In June 2007 I decided to take a quick road-trip down to Missouri. This will have been the furthest west I have driven, and only the second time across the Mississippi! On the way down I stopped in St. Louis to visit the amazing Arch, then two great days in Branson, and finally a visit to Six Flags St. Louis on the way home.Check out the photos of the Arch right here, but don't forget about the other fun I had at:

The St. Louis Arch is something I've been wanting to visit for many years. I had seen pictures, video, and even a whole episode of Modern Marvels devoted to it. However that didn't prepare me for how great it is! The Arch towers over everything, and you can see it for close to 10 miles as you approach from Illinois. The view from the top is breath-taking, and the ride up/down is an adventure in itself. You can even fell it swaying when you're up there - which is not something I'd felt before (even though everyone says the Sears Towers sways); it was a very interesting feeling.
